Newvic sixth form College
Newvic is one of my options because it is near me and students really do well there even though its known to be a awful sixth form, for example: 98% A level pass rate , 65% of all A level entries achieved grades A*-C and 50% of all extended Diploma candidates achieved at least a triple Distinction along with 25 years of success and widening participation at university. Newvic sends more students from disadvantaged backgrounds to university than any other sixth form provider in England.
Newvic offer personal and challenging study programmes for students to prepare for work and citizenship as well as they ensure consistently excellent teaching and best practice in an inspiring learning environment and always supporting and developing enquiring, skilled learners who are committed to continuous improvement.
