For each strength give an example of how you are going to use it in Lord of the Flies

Good Communication

Will help teammates develop trust, we will be able to communicate complete plays in a quicker and more efficient amount of time. Effective communication also allows team members to understand their roles and the roles of everyone else in the group as well as it also gives room for understanding among the team members for what needs to be done, I will show this in the group by listening to others and suggesting ideas.

Physically Fitness

Will provide an opportunity for me to communicate my self-image, be able to show the group what I am cable of as well as use my physical ability to creative a scene in a play, it will require for me to show intensive movement over a prolonged period, I can help the group improve their flexibility, coordination, balance and control, while we use physically theatre during a scene in lord of the flies.

Self- Confidence

Aspects of performing arts, especially improvisation, helps me to understand how to appraise situations, think outside the box and be more confident going into unfamiliar situations. I trust my ideas and abilities to improve our play.

Emotional Outlet

Acting and drama games allow me to express a range of emotions and encourage me to understand and ideal with similar feelings that I've already experienced. Aggression and tension are the feelings I'm going to express the most during the play.

Cooperation

Theatre is a collaboration of different players and in many cases the quality of any performance reliance on an ensemble performance. Everyone will be combining the creative ideas and the abilities and we will get the best outcomes, make sure everyone taking part to engage in discussions, rehearsing and the performance.

Empathy

Understanding characters, roles and the subtext of plays and musicals will allow my group to relate better to different situations, background, and cultures. I will encourage them to show compassion and tolerance for the audience.

Identify 3 key strengths you think you have in rehearsing

Rehearsal and performance

I will test the shape of the play and see if any changes need to be made as well as let go of my script and become fluent with my lines, also it will help build confidence in my group as performers along with connect with people in my group enabling me to ensure i have collaborated on theme and to make alterations to each other's scripts to enhance final production.

Director

It is important for our play to have an outside eye, with an objective viewpoint. I will make sure the story is strong and clear as well as making sure each character can be heard and understood, ensuring the audience can see who is speaking. Blocking/spacing; let the characters move freely whilst making sure that the shape on stage is interesting and that the characters are not all in a line or standing in front of each other. Check that no one is facing away from the audience as well as even if you are not using costume, i will ensure each character has their own visual identity.

Good communication

I will share my scripts as well as if i receive a script from my partner if it's written in native language ,i will read it and see if there are any language /dialogue tips i can give to my partner. Also  i will make sure everyone's ideas are being heard in the group so we can joint the theme work and make changes if needed to ensure our collaboration is strong .
